Brand Africa, a non-profit African movement to inspire a brand-led African renaissance, recently announced the rankings and awards based on comprehensive research conducted in 31 African countries between January and March.
SANParks spokesperson JP Louw says SANParks is delighted to have one of the world’s best travel destinations in its stable of properties and is grateful for this acknowledgement.
“At the core of the successful conservation-management efforts across SANParks’ national parks is responsible tourism offerings and a deliberate socioeconomic transformation programme that is embedded in community beneficiation. This recognition is seen in many posts and writings from guests on various platforms declaring KNP as one of the best places on earth to visit,” he says.
The 14th annual rankings of the best brands in Africa were released by Brand Africa at the end of last month.
Every year, since 2011, Brand Africa, through its independent research partners, conducts research in over 30 markets, and consolidates the results into a global and local lens of the best brands in Africa.
