Zietta (40) and Johan (73), an attorney of Van Rensburg Attorneys in Malalane, face charges of fraud, theft, and money laundering.
The regional court postponed the matter to 28 September.

Zietta’s attorney, Marco Lamberti, was not in court today. He was represented by his local correspondent, Vincent Mashego. He indicated that he needed a postponement to obtain further instructions from his client.

Johan indicated that he has not yet appointed an attorney, but will do so before his next appearance. He also indicated that he only received a copy of the docket today.
Zietta and Johan are out on bail of R6 000 and R10 000 respectively. Bail for both was extended.

The Nelspruit Hawks arrested Zietta and Johan on 13 April in Malalane and they appeared in the Nelspruit magistrate’s court on the same day.
Johan was granted bail, while Zietta was only granted bail the next day.
Both appeared before the magistrate’s court in May, when the case was referred to the regional court.
