The two-day conference was attended by 175 delegates and 21 exhibitors, and 14 guest speakers took to the podium.
Linda Grimbeek, CEO of the chamber, says the programme was designed to improve business confidence and according to the overwhelming number of positive reports, it was surpassing all expectations.

The event closed with a panel discussion led by Izak du Plessis of Nuuspod, presenting key take-aways from the conference. The panelists were Theuns Eloff, chairperson of Astral Foods and various Afrikaans trusts, Stefanie Fick,executive director of the Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (OUTA) and Linda Grimbeek.

“The conference presented numerous testimonies of investors who are investing millions of rands in the Lowveld, and it is our hope to make such investor confidence contagious. Let us dare to employ one more person, take on an intern or invest in some form of expansion,” she says.
“We will do this again in 2026, but double in size! Before then we are still looking forward to the tourism version of the conference set to take place from 3 to 4 December. It will have more of a workshop format and will be aimed at elevating the professionalism of the tourism industry and to keep up with the times and trends with marketing and our own offerings,” she concluded.
