The popular Vlammie Fees was held at the school from Monday, 25 May, to Thursday, 28 May, and participants proved that this school has a burning passion for the arts.

This year’s theme was “colours of the wind”. Learners who passed an initial audition received a teacher as a mentor who worked with them in preparation for their big moment on stage.

Finalists were selected each night to participate in the final on Thursday evening. Learners could also enter their creative writing and artwork and the winners in the various sections were then announced.

The master of ceremonies for the event was musician and song writer Deon Meiring.
