In perfect sunny weather, ten schools – host White River Primary, Laerskool Malelane, Lydenburg Primary, Laerskool Laeveld, Laerskool Sabie, Laerskool Lydenburg, Laerskool Barberton, Laerskool Nelspruit, Laerskool Bergland and Laerskool Numbi – took to the fields for fast-paced six-a-side matches, each lasting 14 minutes. The young players displayed wonderful skill, sportsmanship and enthusiasm, while parents and supporters enjoyed a festive morning of fun, laughter and developmental sport.
The event proved to be a fantastic showcase of grassroots hockey and cricket talent, and a great opportunity for early exposure to team spirit and healthy competition.
