Beautiful evening and wedding dresses will be shown off by models from Timeless Modelling & Deportment Academy and finalists of the Mrs Mpumalanga and Provincial Mpumalanga MS and will be for sale. Those who do not want to buy a dress for themselves will have the opportunity to buy a dress and donate it to a less-fortunate learner for a matric dance.

As a non-profit organisation, Hospice plays a vital role in the Nelspruit and surrounding communities.
Providing quality home‑based palliative care for people with life‑threatening illnesses, professional nurses work within an interdisciplinary team alongside referring doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, and spiritual leaders to provide holistic support for body, mind, and soul.
Most patients are cared for in their own homes, with the family as the unit of care.

“At Nelspruit Hospice, community is at the heart of everything we do. Whether you have time to give, skills to share or a story to tell, your contribution can bring peace, dignity, and care to those facing life-threatening illness,” says Landi Bezuidenhout, CEO of Nelspruit Hospice.
She says palliative care is not just about medicine. It is about presence.

“Volunteers and supporters form a vital part of the care circle, offering the compassion, connection, and practical help that make our work possible. When you get involved, you become part of a compassionate movement, one that walks alongside patients and families when they need it most.”
Tickets for the event cost R250 per person and are available on nelspruithospice.co.za or the Hospice offices, 84 Ferreira Street, Nelspruit.
