The event was scheduled for Friday, 9 May.
Johan Heine, chairperson of the Mpumalanga Air Show, says this change is due to circumstances beyond their control.
“We understand that this news may come as a disappointment and we extend our heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience caused.
“However, we are pleased to confirm that the Paul Zuilenburg Orchestra has already committed to joining us for next year’s show, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Mpumalanga with great anticipation,” he says.

The main event will go ahead as planned and visitors can look forward to a jam-packed day at the Mpumalanga Air Show on 10 May.
“You can expect world-class aerobatic displays, thrilling helicopter formations, a WWII-style Tora Tora pyrotechnic display, an Embraer 190 fly-by, a car-versus-helicopter runway race, and a twilight formation display with fireworks to end the evening,” Heine says.
With over 100 stalls, great food, beer tents, and an electric atmosphere, this is a day not to be missed.
