According to Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison Moeti Mmusi two of the victims were occupants in the taxi while the third was in the LDV. The bodies of the deceased were burnt beyond recognition.
The cause of the crash is not yet known, and the investigation is already under way.
