Mpumalanga police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane says police received information about a man who was hiding drugs at Matsafeni Nelspruit and a multidisciplinary team was summoned to raid the property in the early hours of yesterday morning. Patrick Izuchukwu Udeh was found in the house.

During the search of the premises, cocaine with an estimated street value of R250 000 was recovered and seized for further forensic investigation.
Udeh (57)was arrested and charged with dealing in drugs. He appeared at Nelspruit magistrate’s court yesterday, and his next court appearance is set for 3 March.
