They were charged for contravening the Immigration Act, and one of the suspects was issued with a fine for reckless driving.

Mpumalanga police spokesperson Captain Mpho Nonyane says police are working with officials of the Department of Home Affairs to ascertain the status of the arrested suspects.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Sabie magistrate’s court today.
