The incident between a light delivery vehicle and a sedan happened on the R23 between Val and Balfour at around 12:30 today.
Spokesperson for the Mpumalanga Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi, says bodies of the female driver of the sedan and the two males in the LDV were burnt beyond recognition in the accident.

The cause of the crash is yet to be established. Emergency personnel are currently at the scene of the crash.
